One in two children with aggressive neuroblastoma will not survive

Neuroblastoma is a complex and aggressive cancer affecting very young children. The average age of diagnosis is just two years old, and it is the leading cause of cancer death in children under five.

Your donation helps fund research into safer, more effective treatments, so more children with neuroblastoma have the chance to grow up.

Why we need you

Your help can change lives

In Australia, on average, one child is diagnosed with neuroblastoma every nine days. Yet childhood cancer research receives only a small share of overall cancer research funding, and rare cancers like neuroblastoma attract limited commercial investment.

Current treatments can be extremely harsh on young bodies. Even when children survive, many live with long-term side effects from treatment, including hearing or vision problems, infertility, and an increased risk of secondary cancers.

Children need treatments that are more effective, less toxic and designed for them.
